Will we ever put substance over form?Who cares if he used 'strong language? He is absolutely right about the moronic criticism directed toward Trey Hillman and for that matter other sports exe**tives in Kansas City. And he is right in that the loudest voices in the media have absolutely no credentials in sports and their comments reflect very little knowledge. The fans may be frustrated but that doesn't make them smart or experts.

Wait and listen to uproar from the local media. They sit ba** and criticize and have all the answers. When someone points out their shortcomings they'll scream and cry foul. GB has credibility. It's going to be fun listening to the "babies" try to defend themselves today.

All these sports announcers come out as authorities on all the sport subjects. They follow the fans frustration and they report making comments that sell. George said it right. However, he sounds frustrated not only with the sports announcers but also with the Royals.

Having moved from KC 4 years ago to a much larger city, Chicago, I can tell you that I laugh when I come ba** and listen to WHB and the likes of Kevin K. These are good old home town boys, that really have built the reputation they have around the KC radio market. Remember Don Fortune ??? Its not much better today ! Che** out ESPN Radio, and you won't want to listen to the drivel anymore. Its always good to hear the "homer" crowd crow about local teams. Its more impressive when other parts of the Country notice and talk. Just listen, you don't need to call in and voice your opinion to enjoy it.Maybe then, GB and others like him won't have to tell KC that its a little bit hi** town.

If I were the reporter there I would have asked him where to get crab legs in Las Vegas and the best place to take a dook in my trousers without being noticed? He's entitled to his opinion just as these reporters he said 'f' you to. Too bad he doesn't realize that. Mr. Dookie Pants!!!!

His language may have been colorful, but not as colorful as those pants.

Go George! Some points were meant to be driven home...He scored again w/ me...Once in a great while we are reminded of the purpose of swearing...and this Salty Dog has held his tongue on innumerable occasions. I believe it was truly honorable the way George let fly in defence of Hillman =it's all bleeped anyway so what's the biggy? The media's negativity-that's what!...
