Adam Teicher | Aaron Curry
If Aaron Curry is the player the Chiefs are looking at with the No. 3 pick in the draft, maybe they need to look in a different direction.

We all agree that the Chiefs need a pass rusher- the problem is, there are none in this draft worthy of the third pick. If Pioli engineers a trade down, then there are a number of viable options, but who do you take if you get stuck at #3? Orakpo? Bust written all over him. Brown? Size raises question marks with him. (At 10-20, he might make sense....) Maybin? Uh, no.... This year's first round is, admittedly bottom-heavy, but that does not mean the organization should go reaching for questionable prospects at the highest pick they've held since Neil Smith. They must cover their bets by either taking the "sure thing" (**rry) or trade down for extra picks. Reaching is not a luxury they can afford....

Why is everyone convinced the Chiefs are going to draft **rry? Is it because of all the media hype surrounding **rry and the fact the Chiefs need help on defense? Hasn't anyone learned that Pioli doesn't tip his hand yet? If I were in the media, I wouldn't jump to the conclusion the **rry is the Chiefs man. He well may be or, the Chiefs may have something else in mind all together. The media has published this so much that, if the Chiefs go in a different direction, Chiefs fans are bound to be dissapointed at the very least.

ok How many rookies did we have last year? I dont want to see 12 more rookies on this team this year. We were the youngest team in the league last year and we showed it on the field. I dont like us trading for extra picks. I think we should maybe trade for a good veteran and trade down from 3 but do not trade for extra picks. Or just take **rry at 3 and be happy

I would have to agree on the trading down if that is possible. The bad thing is I don't see a lot of teams that are going to want to trade up. Yes there are a couple of players that might be worth the 3rd pick in the draft. But considering all the help we still need I think trading down to get more draft picks considering we don't have a 2nd round pick. We need every pick we can get and I don't see anyone giving us a 2nd round pick for LJ unless they are crazy.

A*** -- I'm tired of you beating this dead horse. I get it. You REALLY think the Chiefs should draft a pass rusher. I have numerous counterpoints, however I'm so sick of hearing this broken record opinion and the tone is comes with I'm not even going to indulge it anymore.
