Question: If the Chiefs are already very much under the cap limit, what would they do with the money? It seems nothing which diminishes the value of releasing him IMO.

hmm- i dont like their other options at RB. if they can't get any draft pics for him they should keep him.

As far as versatility goes, didn't Corey Dillon come out of games on 3rd down being replaced by Kevin Faulk? I don't see that as a reason the Chiefs would part with Johnson especially when you consider they don't have a proven runner behind him.
