Johnson County Sheriff Frank Denning was sworn in for his third term in office on Monday, Jan. 14. During the ceremony, Denning said among his priorities in the coming term is to work with local law enforcement agencies, especially to improve security at local schools in the aftermath of the mass shooting last month in Newtown, Conn.
