Armed men rob 7-Eleven store in Independence |

Two armed robbers held up an Independence convenience store early Saturday, police said. They approached the store clerk when he took out trash and forced him back into the store at gunpoint. The pair robbed the employee and both cash registers at the 7-Eleven at 1100 E. 23rd St., according to police. Security cameras captured images of both robbers.
