Conditioning the track at Kansas Speedway |

Kansas Speedway president Pat Warren demonstrated the "Tire Dragon" for The Kansas City Star on Monday, October 8, 2012. The tractor has four tires on it, that are spun opposite the direction of travel, in order to build up rubber on the newly repaved track at Kansas Speedway. The tractor travels about 10 mph, and the tires, specially ordered from Goodyear, last about 4 hours. (Video by Todd Feeback - The Kansas City Star)
